I don’t like posting selfies, but I will once in awhile as a self motivator for my work in progress; being fit and toned. Booty’s lifting (I had your typical flat asian ass!) and the arms toning. I don’t believe in quick results, everything in health and wellness takes time, that’s why it’s called a lifestyle. Because it’s how you life your life, not how you live in just a few months.
I’m a true advocate of living a healthy lifestyle which includes clean nutrition, staying fit and active and when necessary, supplement with what you can’t in between it all. So yes, I believe in eating clean AND taking supplements to help with fat loss/muscle gain for the same reason people need to take vitamins rather than getting it through whole foods. Sometimes you just can’t consume it all! I’m not trying to be a bodybuilder, or a fit model, or an endurance athlete….I’m a lifestyle coach. I’m not about the talk…..I live it.
Hitting the weight room when it’s empty is one of the best feelings in the world! Ladies, don’t be afraid to jump in there, familiarize yourself with the equipment and learn some free weight training exercises! Don’t be intimidated. Trust me, there are guys in there who don’t even know what they’re doing in there! And remember, unglue yourselves from the cardio machines! You want to lose fat, not just the number in pounds, but if you’re only doing cardio, you’re wasting your lean body mass away.
In upcoming months, I will slowly introduce workout posts here as well to incorporate into my blog. So just be forewarned! ;)
